It's our Birthday!
Back in 2003, Justin found the old barn on the hill, the perfect site for a new little winery called Samuel's Gorge.
Committed to the region and championing grapes that excel in McLaren Vale, he made his first vintage of just three wines; Grenache, Tempranillo and Shiraz. Little did he know, just how much this would grow, and how many amazing people would come to walk through its doors.
Over the past 20 years we have had some amazing experiences in the old barn on the hill. We owe everyone a big thanks for coming to visit us at the Cellar Door and Winery. We have made wines from not only our beautiful region, but dabbled in others further afield, hosted dinners and events, made music and pinatas.
We have had some crazy characters working with us and some crazy characters sitting on the verandah tasting wines. Without you all it wouldn't have been half as much fun - cheers!
