2022 Graciano

Graciano is a unique grape, known for its powerful aromatic range and its vibrant purple tones. As part of the Samuel’s Gorge line up, this wine sits in its own category, being a bit of a show stealer. Made from the fruit from two different vineyards, the wine team uses gentle, slow fermentation, over a period of up to three weeks, to create a wine with great aging potential, and complexity of flavour.

The 2022 Graciano is a bold, layered, and aromatic wine, full of flavour. The spice range is what is first apparent in this wine, with aromas of cassia bark, cigar box and earthy coriander seed. As you continue to swirl the glass, you will smell vibrant blueberry, balsamic strawberries and cocoa nibs. On the palate it has great length and acidity, showing more of that lively spice range and purple fruits.

Pair this with Jamaican jerk chicken or something equally full of flavour. This wine is no wallflower and will stand up to big flavour hits.
